The town of Borkum provides chargeable car parks. These include the car parks "Oppermanns-Pad" (P2, north of the town centre), "Ankerstraße" (P3, south of the town centre) and "Upholmstraße" (east of the town centre). The charges are €5.00 per day. Short-term parkers can park for one hour for €1.00. For long-term parkers, the monthly fee is €90.00 or the annual fee is €150.00. The car park "Am Langen Wasser" has a special status. This car park was renovated with funding from the village renewal programme and may not be subject to charges for a certain period of time due to funding regulations.
