    Emmich Monument Borkum

    The Emmich monument in the Borkum dunes is dedicated to the German infantry general Albert Theodor Otto. It was erected in 1917 by units stationed on Borkum that were under the general's command at the time. The monument depicts a stone block on which the weapons and helmet of a Germanic warrior rest.
