Route Ostland + Hooge Hörn

Once again, the tour starts at the tourist information office in the town center. The route takes you across the island to the extreme eastern tip. As with previous routes, you follow Hindenburgstraße, Barbaraweg and Ostfriesenstraße out to Ostland. Once there, you can take a short breather in the local pubs before continuing to the Sterenk-Klipp viewing dune in Duala. From there, you can walk to Hooge Hörn to experience Borkum's unique nature up close. You can take the path back towards the town center via the beach. It is a good idea to turn left at the nudist beach to Dünenbudje. You can take the bus back to the village at the nudist parking lot not far from the Dünenbudje. Otherwise, there is of course nothing better than walking along the water's edge.
